Publication of research protocol

I am very excited to share that our research protocol has been published in MethodsX! This article clarifies how we will approach the next phase of our project.

People often ask me: “What exactly are you working on?” Well, I am investigating how errors in the design of scientific research can influence the reported results of manual therapy for low back pain.

This research helps to better understand the quality of the evidence of what you ‘see happening’ in daily practice and to provide clarity to the authorities that issue guidelines regarding manual therapy.

It feels good to see this process formalized now, so that we can enter the next phase with a clear perspective. I am already looking forward to sharing the results with you in due course.

A big thank you to the co-authors and the collaboration between the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the University of Southern Denmark, the Institut Franco-Européen de Chiropraxie (IFEC), and DBRIC that made this possible.
